Amble Books is for people who love old books. And the best thing about spending an hour with a real book is that no one is looking over your shoulder to data-mine your quiet time.

Like you, I love to handle, look at, and read real books. I find them at library sales, thrift stores, eBay lots, and flea markets. Some are from my personal library. Any book in this shop is special enough to deserve another home, and I hope you find something you like--and maybe make a lifelong "friend".

(For myself, I've been diving deep into vintage sci fi from the 60s and 70s. Can't believe it took so many years to finally stumble into great writers like Jack Vance, Robert Silverberg, and Frederick Pohl. My newest find, very far from sci fi, is Patrick O'Brian. Who would have thought???)
